Software Release for SL-BUS Technology Planned on 31 Aug 2021
For the same, we are conducting a knowledge-sharing session with a pre-release demo setup to explain to you the new features and updates.
It would be a QA session to let you understand and adapt to the changes with new features. The session will be conducted over a google meet.
The details are as below -

Please find the below topics that will be covered in this meeting and thereafter in release considering the feedback of this meeting.

a) This is a new addition and supported all APIs that are supported by Java Library.
2. SL-WLIGHT-WCT-IV3 (Release V6.0.20210831)
a) Extra Model Numbers supported for hardware specific use cases.
3) SL-WDLC-STD-V63Q (Release V6.0.20210831)
a) Supported Secured Door password reset mechanism.
4) SLT-WSW-8CH-TR-IV3 (Release V6.0.20210831)
a) This is the new SmartLiving 8CH Switch product with a touch interface.
5. SL-WBC-SCN-CPL-IV3 & SLT-WBC-SCN-CPL-IV3 (Release V6.0.20210831)
a) These are two new Scene Controller Coupler products that supports additional SL-BUS BLE-Mesh Gateway SL-BUS, WiFi, and BLE.

b) Supported Feature to Assign a Product to the User (Registration) using automatic device discovery method as well as scanning QR Code on the product.
c) Supported Auto Addressing for SL-BUS BLE-Mesh.
d) Improved Users and Usage Security.
e) New "Release Address" feature added for node re-addressing options (important for SL-BUS BLE Node).
f) New "Modify Configuration" option added for Node configuration from Group details page (bugfix 83).
g) Simplified location programming for a device.
h) "Member Information" added to Setup>>About page to track User's VDCloud Membership Details.
i) Added support to discover new SL-BUS products that starts with SLT and SLN naming convention for "Add new device".
j) Added sensor information to the device data backup/restore mechanism.
k) Regular Bugfixes.
2. SmartLiving Pro App (Release V6.6.8 (Beta) V6.7.0)
b) Supported Feature to Assign a Product to the User (Registration) using automatic device discovery method as well as scanning QR Code on the product.
4. SL-BUS APIs Java Library (Release V2.1.0)
a) Added APIs for Login, GetAccessToken, GrantAccessToken within the library (earlier those were separate cloud APIs).
a) Simplified device data management for WiFi and BLE based SL-BUS Technology Devices.
b) Updated Online Support Management System for improved email notifications.
c) Minor Cosmetic Bugfixes.
d) Control Server:
i) Few more error handling added for login APIs.
ii) Configurable Service key support added for IFTTT published action modification validation needs.
iii) enabled backward compatibility for getaccesstoken to work with old and new VDCloud based password authentication.
e) Customers Registration Server:
i) Updated SL-BUS/Manage UUID API to support product registration from third-party apps.
ii) Updated SL-BUS/login API to exchange additional information for better future management.
f) DLM Server Automation:
i) Simplified View licenses data reporting for user, manager, and admin privileged users.
g) Production Server:
i) VDPPROD Process updated to report Product code to the device manufacturing data.
